Management Team

Bradley K. Googins, Ph.D.
Executive Director
Bradley Googins has served as The Center's Executive Director since 1997. Since becoming Executive Director, he has undertaken a major restructuring of The Center to better serve its corporate membership while pushing the corporate citizenship agenda forward in Fortune 1000 companies. Dr. Googins is focusing on developing a global educational network on corporate citizenship. He frequently speaks around the world on issues of corporate citizenship, including a recent engagement in Latin America on behalf of the State Department. He is also one of the key organizers of the Transatlantic Summit on Corporate Citizenship in Great Britain, and a member of the Steering Committee of the MacArthur Foundation project on Human Development and Healthy Organizations. Director of Communications

Susan Fonseca
Director of Administration
Susan Fonseca oversees all aspects of The Center's operations, administration and finances. Prior to her position at Boston College, Susan Fonseca was the Director of Operations for a national management consultancy. Cheryl Yaffe Kiser
Director of Corporate Engagement & Marketing
Cheryl Kiser oversees all aspects of The Center's marketing strategies, media relations, member relations, and communications. Prior to her position at Boston College, Cheryl Yaffe Kiser was the Director of Corporate Communications for WFD, Inc. (formerly Work Family Directions), and a community relations practitioner as head of the department for the Metropolitan District Commission, the largest Massachusetts state agency. Christopher C. Pinney
Director of Executive Education
Chris leads The Center's executive education program, including its open enrollment certificate program, custom and on-site training, and the Global Education Network. Edmund M. Burke, Ph.D.
Founder and Director Emeritus
Edmund Burke is the founder and Director Emeritus of The Center. His extensive experience in strategic planning, including service on the staff of the White House under President Jimmy Carter, makes him an acknowledged authority on corporate citizenship. His book, Corporate Community Relations: The Principle of the Neighbor of Choice, has become a standard for designing community relations strategies and programs. Another book, Managing a Company in an Activist World: The Leadership Challenge of Corporate Citizenship, published in 2005, describes the management challenges and responsibilities of corporate citizenship.

Sylvia Ciesluk, Research Associate
Sylvia is a lead researcher for the Global Education and Research Network, providing knowledge and educational resources to help companies understand the global corporate citizenship context. She is also a researcher for the Executive Forum, which serves senior corporate citizenship professionals as they work to make corporate citizenship a part of their company's vision and each employee's job. Kenda Kuncaitis, Member Services Specialist
Kenda manages the services offered to Center members, acting as a liaison between members and Center staff.  In addition, she is responsible for the Center’s monthly webinars and oversees the Member Knowledge Center. Allison Lee, Senior Research Associate/Corporate Community Liaison
Allison is the point person for the Center’s community involvement activities and research. She does research and writing around philanthropy, volunteerism, strategic partnerships and other major community involvement issues. She also leads the Community Involvement Leadership Roundtable, a group of companies which provides advanced thinking in the community involvement space.  Prior to joining the Center, she worked as a researcher for the Corporate Citizenship Company, a U.K.-based CSR consulting firm. Theresa Mahan, Editorial Assistant for The Journal of Corporate Citizenship 
Theresa serves as the part-time editorial assistant for The Journal of Corporate Citizenship, which is housed at Boston College. Working with the current editor, David Cooperrider of Case Western Reserve University, she manages all submissions and communications with the authors, reviewers and with Greenleaf Publishing in the UK. Theresa is also a freelance artist with a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art.

Lisa Medolo, Business Manager

Belinda Richards, Research Associate, The Institute for Responsible Investment
Belinda is a Research Associate in the Institute for Responsible Investment, a Center project that works with investors, corporations, public sector organizations, and research institutes to coordinate thinking and action around issues of strategic importance to long-term wealth creation for investors and society at large. Kwang Ryu, Research Associate
Kwang is a lead developer of The Center's Global Benchmarking Initiative, working with companies around the world to benchmark and measure performance in corporate citizenship within their peer groups as a means of creating strategic business advantage. He also is a network manager for the Executive Forum, which serves senior corporate citizenship professionals as they work to make corporate citizenship a part of their company's vision and each employee's job.
