Corporate Social Responsibility Monitor

Corporate Social Responsibility Monitor

The Corporate Social Responsibility Monitor is a public opinion survey conducted annually in 22 countries that delivers strategic metrics and insights about consumers' expectations and attitudes towards corporate responsibility. The Center is a partner with GlobeScan Inc. in publishing the annual U.S. version.

The U.S. CSR Monitor covers a range of issues, including: social expectations of companies, ethical consumerism, socially responsible investing, the corporation's role in helping solve social problems, responsibility of large companies in helping the world's poor, the use of laws to enforce corporate responsibility, and communicating corporate citizenship. It is based on interviews of American consumers, shareholders, employees of large companies, and opinion leaders on the changing expectations of companies. It offers insight into how companies can stay ahead of issues, manage the expectations of a demanding public and build CSR programs that resonate with key stakeholders.
