Nestle Waters North America
Nestle Waters North America (NWNA) manufactures and distributes 15 popular regional and national bottled water brands across the U.S. The company is today America's largest bottled water company, accounting for 40 percent of the industry's sales. One of NWNA's hallmarks is natural spring water. Quality water, coming from real and natural places, has built strong customer preference and loyalty. This tie to the land has encouraged NWNA to invest significantly in sustainable natural resource stewardship. Comprehensive groundwater monitoring programs, processes to ensure efficient use of water, investments in the construction of innovative LEED-certified manufacturing plants, industry-leading reductions in the use of plastic and packaging materials, and recycling programs to reduce waste in NWNA manufacturing plants are concrete examples. In addition to its track record of environmental leadership within the bottled water industry, NWNA's operations are guided by a well-articulated set of beliefs and aspirations, including a Good Neighbor Policy, which outlines the commitments the company makes to its neighbors, employees, communities and stakeholders. As part of its Good Neighbor Policy, NWNA provides significant support for environmental, water education, community priorities, and disaster relief – at both the local and national levels.
