State of Corporate Citizenship Communications Wins Award
The Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals has awarded the Hitachi Foundation a Gold MarCom for the communications strategy supporting the release of the 2007 State of Corporate Citizenship in the U.S.
The communications strategy recognized for excellence involved a moderated web log with Net Impact and Boston College and a webinar that captured the attention of more than 150 companies, along with more traditional press outreach. Involved in designing the strategy was The Hitachi foundation, the Boston College Center, and Rosenberg Communications of Rockville, MD.
The survey, conducted for Boston College by GlobeScan, is the only research of its kind that provides a comprehensive overview of small, medium and large-sized U.S. business and how their senior executives view the role of business in society and the related management activities.
