We are pleased to announce the winner of the 2010 Film Festival

Congratulations to PricewaterhouseCoopers, winner of our 2010 Film Festival. The company’s winning video shows how 100 college students sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers took on a number of service projects in June 2009 in areas still suffering the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina. The students helped small business owners refurbish their property, revitalized a baseball field and basketball court, cleaned up around a local school and repaired the homes of families in New Orleans’ hard-struck Ninth Ward.

The video from PricewaterhouseCoopers was one of 10 finalists selected from 29 entries in the Center’s second annual film festival that showcases videos from companies that capture how their corporate citizenship initiatives are having a positive impact - typically in partnership with nonprofits, customers and employees - on social and environmental challenges. Members of our online Member Community chose the top video from our 10 finalists. The winner of the Film Festival was announced and presented with an award at the 2010 Corporate Citizenship Conference.
