Trusted Educator
Since 1985 the Boston College Center has been a trusted educational resource for companies trying to strengthen their relationship with communities and build sustainable strategies for addressing large societal issues. More than 6,000 managers and executives representing more than 1,000 companies have participated in our management development programs.
From our position inside the Carroll School of Management and the access we have to the world’s leading companies, we draw knowledge and insight that allows us to build world class curriculum and conduct research. As one of the oldest corporate citizenship think tanks, we maintain the largest team of researchers focused on the role business plays in 21st century society. Our research agenda contributes vital knowledge to companies and provides other management educators contemporary insight on corporate responsibility.
Our learning agenda provides solutions and tools that can be put to use immediately by those who drive citizenship within global companies. Boston College is the only university in North America that offers certificate programs in the areas of corporate citizenship and corporate community involvement.
The Center’s instructors are recruited from the ranks of business and academia, providing a combination of practical experience and rigorous examination regarding the needs of business today. Our learning opportunities take many forms, from web-based seminars to courses and workshops organized in cities around the world to custom programs brought on-site to member companies.
