6th annual Film Festival Begins December 16
More than 6 billion hours of video are watched each month on YouTube, and these videos are shared over and over on Facebook and Twitter.
You may already be using video to tell your corporate citizenship story. Here's your opportunity to share your story with thousands more viewers, and a chance to be recognized for telling your story well.
Entry in the Film Festival gives companies a chance to inform employees of corporate citizenship efforts while engaging them in the festival voting process. The 90,000 individuals who viewed the videos in the 2013 Film Festival and voted for their favorite sent a resounding message: video is an effective vehicle to tell your corporate citizenship story to internal and external audiences, and the Film Festival is a great opportunity to engage your employees and partners.
Here are the important dates for this year’s Film Festival:
Submission period: December 16, 2013 to January 17, 2014.
Public voting: Voting will take place from January 27 through February 7 to narrow the field to ten finalists. The finalists will be announced on February 10, 2014.
Winner announced: The ten finalists will be reviewed by a panel of judges to choose the winner, who will be announced on March 24 during the 2014 International Corporate Citizenship Conference, March 24-25, in Los Angeles.
* In order to win a representative from your company must be in attendance at the International Corporate Citizenship Conference (registration required).
